how to use a custom field on income statement?

Hi All,

I understand that we can use a custom field on the income statement. Can you please let me know how?

We don't want to see the department number and description together on the income statement. So, we are planning to create a custom field for department number and display it on the income statement. Hence, the question.

Do I need to download Financial Report Builder to do it? If so, where should I download it from?
