About MultiBook environment

Hi Teams,

I know that the support team will provide a MultiBook environment.
If am I correct in understanding that once the environment is provided, it can't be reverted back to the way it was before?
And if I don't enable MultiBook, it will be the same as the normal way of using the accounting book, right?

Lastly, it seems to be a prerequisite to perform the Test in SandBox in advance, what is the reason for this?
