Depreciation Journal entry approval not working

Hello - I am receiving and error when running my depreciation JEs due to the created by field.

I found two answers in the forum here. ( How to configure Approval Workflow to Auto-approve generated Fixed Asset Depreciation Journals? and AE:Journal entry approval workflow|auto approve system created journal ) I followed the instructions and it works in sandbox but when I replicate it in production it does not work.

The only difference between sandbox and production are that production has been upgraded to 2024.2 and sandbox has not.

Any help will be appreciated, Thank you
