Item Committment and Allocation Question
Hello,
We use Allocations and have a question on prioritization. Here is the issue:
- We have three orders for a product
- 10/1/2024 - 100 ea
- 10/2/2024 - 10 ea
- 10/3/2024 = 5 ea
- We have 20 ea in stock
- Orders two and three (above) are not being allocated, because 20 ea (stock) is committed against order 1, which cannot ship.
- In the meantime, nothing ships because order 1 is waiting for 80 more to be received from an open vendor PO.
- Allocation Strategy for all three is "Complete Quantity"
How do I (automatically) tell the system to allocate the stock to the items that CAN ship and leave the first order de-prioritized until it can ship.
