how to combine both accounting period and transaction in same dataset
Im creating a transaction dataset, where im showing opportunities and sales.
Im using a formula to return the dates for opportunity and sales all under one column so i can use this for my workbook. However i need to also join the accounting period. Which does not seem possible. When you type accounting period, no options are available.
However, it seems possible to create a dataset on accounting period in itself. Just cant join the two together. Any help would be appreciated.
The goal here is to ensure the transaction is in the right period month.
