Adv. Manufacturing: Combine operations from multiple work orders to be executed together
Dear Gurus / Community,
I'm looking for a method to combine work orders with same operation, to be executed together at the same machine at the same time.
The production line is linear, meaning each operation step is completed before the next operation starts at a different work stations - except for one. At this work station I combine and process multiple work orders at the same time.
For example:
- 20 work orders with the same operation step e.g. stamping, washing
- 2 machines that can stamp, wash, etc. 10 work orders at the same time
- setup time is 15min for all 10 combined and the machine runs for 30min.
