Considerations for swapping inventory items to matrix items.
Hi everyone! So I've joined a new company and my first task is to help in the conversion of our existing inventory to matrix items.
I'm going to list how I think this would happen, so please respond with your questions, concerns and guidance for this process.
1) First I need to create the lists for the various matrix options. Shirt Size, Drill Size, Color, Ladder Length etc.
2) Then I need to import a list of our existing items but as matrix items for the replacements.
3a) Then I need to swap the items wherever referenced on all open POs, SOs, IRs, IFs, anywhere else?
