Work Order receive & Build SuiteScript API

Hi,
For subcontractor work orders, the process is to receive and build through the "Receive And Build" button on the work order.

Is there an API for this button, or a work around to automate the process through script?
As there is not transformation from WO to Item Receipt.

As second option, is it possible to populate the "Assembly Build Helper" on the item receipt through script?

A customer with a vast manufacturing volume really needs this automation.
