How to show Finance Charge on original Invoice?
The out of the box finance charge calculates the finance charge at a "point in time".
The resulting invoice shows the open portion of the invoice but does not show the amount of the finance charge by invoice.
Business issues:
- The customer cannot see the total finance charge by invoice.
- If the customer requests a copy of Inv12563, the customer sees the original amount of the invoice but not the related finance charge.
Multiple questions:
- Could a plug-in be used to cause "#Inv12563, 8/29/2020, $100.00" to show "#Inv12563, 8/29/2020, $100.00, $1.50" where the $1.50 is the finance charge for Inv12563?
- Could a plug-in be used to add the $1.50 above to a custom field on Inv12563?
