WIP account when closing WOs

Hi community,

I need to understand why when closing a WO it's crediting WIP account.

The process is:

ISSUE : debit WIP/credit Components

COMPLETION: credit WIP/Debit the Asset account of the assembly built

CLOSE: debit again WIP /Variance (no variances in components nor quantities)

Cost: Average.

what could be the reason to debit again WIP at the close transaction.
