Sending and receiving e-mail

Is it possible to send and receive e-mails to and from clients and suppliers in NetSuite?

For example, when we place an order with a supplier, we need to exchange quotes via email.
Is it possible to send an email request directly from NetSuite to the supplier, and when the supplier replies to the email address, NetSuite will also receive the email and keep a history of it?

We have multiple suppliers and would like to check purchase order transactions and track email correspondence with suppliers.

Is this possible with the standard functionality?
