Filter selection is not showing up in exported excel for some filters

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:52PM in Ask A Guru 5 comments

Hello everyone,

This is my first task and experience with NetSuite reporting, so I appreciate your patience.

I have a report in NetSuite with filters, but when I export it to Excel, only some filter values appear. For example, the filter value for the date (e.g., August 2024) is showing up, but the filter value for the department (e.g., 3000) is not.

To clarify, when I say "filter value," I mean the selected filters, such as dates (August 2024) and department (3000). While the exported Excel file correctly shows August 2024, there is no indication that the department filter (3000) was applied. However, the data itself in the Excel file corresponds to August 2024 and department 3000, so the filter is working in the report, but it’s not reflected in the exported file.

Howdy, Stranger!
