Standard cost reval affecting closed Work Orders WIP value, etc...
Hello Gurus, An interesting topic for today. A Standards revaluation was completed on January 1st 2025. As part of this process, systemic updates took place on Work Order related transactions for Work Orders in WIP. But it also updated Work Order closes and Work Order completions for Work Orders that were closed in prior months. The change was to the Manufacturing rates via the Manufacturing Charge items. I can see updating WIP. Updating Closed Work Orders, I need an explanation as this changes previously reported values. It would seem a giant gaping flaw if this is standard behavior.
