simultaneous suitelet call cause error?

I have a button on a Vendor Bill which triggers a backend suitelet (single deployment) via a client script. I am triggering a workflow action with workflow.trigger() from that suitelet which SOMETIMES gives error (RCRD_HAS_BEEN_CHANGED).

Is it possible that the users working from different Bills are clicking that button which might trigger the same suitelet simultaneously and cause error?
