Closing Work Orders using Suitescript
We would like to close selected Work Orders that meet an existing saved search criteria nightly using a scheduled script. Since the orderstatus field is read only, I've tried creating a Work Order Close record, but I am getting error: "TRANSACTION_CAN_ONLY_BE_CREATED_FROM_A_WORK_ORDER". I also saw guidance that the work order close record cannot be copied or created.
Is there no way to close a Work Order using Suitescript? Below is the code that generates the error above:
var closerecord = record.create({
type: record.Type.WORK_ORDER_CLOSE,
isDynamic: true});
