Default Tax Code- Why is sales tax account available?

Hi There

This is a screenshot of a newly provisioned NetSuite Australian edition account:

Why would there be an account populated under the 'sales tax account' field when the tax code is only available on purchase transactions?

Shouldn't this field be greyed out and blank?
