Currency of the unit price shown in the item record

Are the unit prices of AVERAGE COST and LAST PURCHASE PRICE for each warehouse shown on the Purchasing/Inventory tab of the item record in JPY or USD?
What currency is used?

We sometimes purchase items in JPY and sometimes in USD.

We are wondering if these unit prices are written in JPY or USD.
