Fixed Asset Report | Missing an Asset Record

Greetings.

Our controller sent me a message stating that one of the assets was not showing up on the Fixed Asset Report.

  • Fixed Assets > Reports > Generate Report
  • Report Type: Fixed Assets Listing
  • Star Date: 1/1/2024 End Date: 12/31/2024

If I run the report using 2025 dates (1/1/2025 to 12/31/2025), that asset does show up on the list.

Asset History:

  • Created 1/2/2025
  • Purchase Date was set 12/23/2025
  • Changed within an hour to 12/23/2024
  • Depreciation Start Date: 12/23/2024

I'd like to be able to either

  1. Tweak the record so it shows in 2024
  2. Provide an explanation as to why it's only showing in 2025
