Customize FAM Report Template

Hello! I need help ASAP! ANYONE OUT THERE????

I built a custom FAM Report template. Screenshot attached. It created this XML file (screenshot attached).

When I go to run the report and I select the report type as Asset Register Report and select my options, it doesn't look the same as what I built and there are columns missing.

Since my FAM report template is saved as report type Asset Register Report how do I find it and generate that report for my financial audit?

Do I have to select the "set as prefered template" box in order to have it show? What am I missing?
