Unable to modify FAM lease
Hi,
We have a few instances whereby NetSuite seems to be inconsistent with Lease modification.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
So far, these are the steps we have taken during our testing:
- Create Lease
- Add Lease Payments
- Generate Lease Amortization Schedule
- Create Initial Lease JE
- Asset proposal and creation
- Run Asset depreciation
- Reverse JE by editing and adding reversal date on the JE.
- Modify lease
- Generate payment schedule and edit the dates/amounts
- Apply lease modification
I did two test so far, (1) without step 6 and the rest was successful; (2) I added asset depreciation in the step, but the Lease Modification option is not allowing me to input any changes i.e. the fields are greyed out:
