If you had to get KPI's and compare them over time

I want to display custom KPI's to compare between different periods. The KPI's are very custom and they pick different sets of accounts.

What would be the best way to get this KPI's in Netsuite, knowing that I want to compare the over time, let's say that i want first YTD this year, vs previous year, vs year -2 and that they are very specific KPI with +30 COA accounts each.
