W-2 Adjustments
I switched over to using NetSuite Payroll in the middle of 2023. And because of that, I had 2 payroll providers for that tax season. When making the switch, I entered all of the previous payroll information (from QB) into Netsuite. So at the end of the year, I received a W-2 from Netsuite that contained data for the entire 2023 tax year. However, QB also issued a W-2 to me (and the IRS) showing my pay information prior to switching to Netsuite. Therefore, this information was reported to the IRS twice.
