Why is Vendor Bill Credit- Date Closed is inheriting Posting Date of the Bill it was applied to?

Hi,
I have Vendor Bill credits that were created and applied on a later period (2024) but on a saved search report the date closed of these Vendor bill credits were reflecting (2023) which is the posting date of the Bill which Bill credit was applied to.

Bill credits were only created in 6.2024 why would it have a date closed of 2023?
