Complete Restructuring of the Chart of Accounts
Dear Community
Could someone provide insights on the impacts, best practices, and guidelines for implementing the below changes after operating the business for several years in NetSuite?
- In the initial phase, the Chart of Accounts should be renamed and renumbered.
- Certain accounts must be inactivated, with their balances transferred to newly created accounts, which may have different account types.
- Item records should be updated to align with the newly created accounts.
