transaction saved search not showing in dropdown of saved searches on a custom transaction body fiel

I created a custom transaction body field, but the transaction saved search does not appear in the dropdown list to choose from. I would like to display on the sales order if a customer is on Credit Hold so the order is not sent for processing. I do have the internal ID set on the search filter tab. Any ideas Guru's?
