USA State Tax - Not available to select in line item

We are using the Legacy tax setup, and I recently configured Indiana State Tax in NetSuite.

The following setups have been completed:

  • Nexus added and assigned to the subsidiary.
  • Item marked as taxable with a tax schedule where taxable includes US Nexus (IN taxable) checked.
  • Indiana state tax code added.

However, when creating a sales order for this item, the tax codes are not available for selection in the line item. The tax checkbox is checked, but the tax total remains 0.
