Payment File Template creditsHash returning currency internalid instead of name

Creating a custom Payment File Format and creditsHash is returning the currency internalid instead of the name like transHash or payments does. This is preventing me from using getCurrencySymbol(currencyName) which I need for the template I'm working on. Please help.
