Inventory Transfer Order GL Impact Fulfil & Receive Standard Costing
Use Case and Issue/Questions:
Standard Costing is used and it is understood that to avoid GL impact to Item Gain/Loss GL account (default Income account or other account selected in this Item record field) we need to do the following:
- Set Transfer Price field in Item Record or enter on Transfer Order Transfer Price field equal to the current Standard Cost of the Source Location
- Accept that USE ITEM COST AS TRANSFER COST feature is not available for Item using Standard Costing method
Test transactions in our Sandbox are resulting in unexpected GL Impact for Transfer Order Item Receipt, posting Credits to Purchase Price Variance GL account instead of Inventory In Transit?
