Questions:

How to create a new BOM Revision when Start and End Dates are unknown?

How to set Start and End Dates when use case requires two BOM Revisions to be active during a transition period from BOM Revision 1 to BOM Revision 2 and Assembly is built using Outsourced Manufacturing process?

Do the Effective Start and End dates in BOM revision prevent using the revision on OSM Purchase Order or prevent creation of related Work Order, Assembly Build and Transfer Order in OSM process?

Actual Use Case explained:

Assembly item built by OSM process will be transitioned from old OSM Vendor A to new OSM Vendor B requiring new BOM Revision with new Service for Purchase BOM component
