We started using Customer Profitability Reports. I have tried several means for a Non- Inventory Item (Service Item or Other Charge Item) on a Sales Order, then Invoice. On the report the Revenue is captured, however no cost. Besides using these items type is anyone aware of a method to capture a internal cost, such as Kitting and for the cost to populate on the Customer Profitability Report? Even with Time Tracking, just the Revenue shows on this report. I am open to any ideas, I would rather it not be a Journal entry. I appreciate your time and advice!
