Customer Message

I created a customer message and selected it under Communication/Messages/Customer Message, but it's not showing up on the invoice PDF file. I've tried to google this and it has said to review the invoice form, however I can't find it in NetSuite. Not sure how to trouble shoot this on my end. Any tips on how to get this message to appear on our customer invoices?
