I have created several Dynamic Groups of Employees using specific criteria applied to the employee records. For example, one group of Employees should have "ALL" documents access.

However, when I set the "Restrict by Group" to my dynamic group, no one in the group has access to those folders anymore- even though they are a member in the group via my saved search.
Access to that File Cabinet Folder is then only available to an Administrator and the Group assigned has no access and cannot even see the folders.

This must be a defect as it does not work and in fact prevents any/all access to that folder other than an administrator.
