Bug or Misconfiguration - Parent-Child Record Filtering Issue
I am experiencing an issue with filtering a custom field on a parent's sublist when adding or editing a child record. For context, I have two custom records set up as a parent-child relationship, meter-metrics. The metrics record is also the child of Vendor Bill transactions and is editable on a subtab. The meter record also references a vendor, which filters the available meters on the metrics record based on the bill's vendor.
The metrics record is a child record on a bill's subtab where the user can directly enter specifics of the metric. The metrics' meter field is filtered based on the selected vendor of the bill.
