Name & ID's

I have a custom record and initially I didn't have the "Show ID" ticked as I didn't need it. Then, later on as records were created, I ticked it and set the number up. Now when I view the records in a list on another record, I get the title twice on some records and some i see the ID then the name.

Any idea why this is happening and how I can resolve this?
