PO Approval Workflow for Multiple Creator–Approver Combinations

We want to create a workflow on the Purchase Order record where multiple creators (around 100) have their respective different approvers. For this purpose, I have created a custom list to maintain the mapping between creators (makers) and approvers (checkers).

Could you please suggest how we can utilize this custom list effectively within the Purchase Order workflow?
