We are struggling through a difficult situation with NetSuite/SuiteCommerce and would appreciate your input.

We switched over from Miva in 2023 and Netsuite itself works pretty well. The Suitecommerce site does it's job but we quickly became the target for hackers running credit cards against our site. After a lot of running around trying to block the fake accounts during which we were locked out by our payment processor for too many fraudulent transactions we discovered Cloudflare and our problems were solved. Netsuite made changes every so often which broke Cloudflare, we tried to get Netsuite's help but basically the response was that they don't support 3rd party proxying, we found a way to
