How to Define Financial Report Column to Compare YTD Earnings?
I am trying to create a custom Financial Statement that compares year-to-date (YTD) earnings from the current year to the past year. However, I cannot seem to get the alternate period settings to work properly for the comparison column. No matter how I configure it, the relative column only shows results for a single month, as below:
The report's settings are:
And the Amount (Prior) column is defined as:
However, I cannot get the Amount (Prior) column to be from Jan 2024 - Aug 2024. Is there something I am missing, or not doing correctly? Or is the report not able to achieve this?
