Age in Days Function in Saved Search

In Saved Search results, we have the option of Function including operations like Rounding, Week, Year, etc. Among them, we also have Age in Days and similar functions. NetSuite notifies that this function can only be used for date type fields.

Could you give an example of how to use this 'Age in Days' function?
