How to hide the -Create- / -New- option in a custom list?

I hope you'all are doing well,

I created a custom field to select if a PO is for stock or backorder, it's a List/Record field and I made a custom list for it with only those two opcions (List and Record). However there's the -Create- / -New- option ("Nuevo" in Spanish) when interacting with the field and I can't find a way to hide it.

I saw some suggestions about converting the custom list into a custom record but even after some testing changing the settings I can't get it.

I would appreciate so much your help, thank you for your time.
