Limit NetSuite to not create wave / pick tasks for not committed quantity

edited Dec 12, 2025 5:52PM in Ask A Guru 7 comments

Hello Team,

I'm having an issue with NetSuite creating waves and pick tasks for SO lines with quantity backordered and not committed.

I have three SOs with the same item, and my current on hand inventory qty is 2.
SO 1: Qty 1 (one committed)
SO 2: Qty 1 (one committed)
SO 3: Qty 4 (4 back ordered).

When I ran the waves creation, its creating pick task for all SOs lines, but for SO3 is creating the pick task for qty of 2.

How can I limit the pick tasks to be created only for committed quantity?

Howdy, Stranger!
