Why is there no option to select existing resource groups?

Hi

I am trying to assign a resource group to a project task though none of the existing resource groups appear in the drop down

Why would that be the case?

  • The project preferences do not have the 'restrict time and expenses to resources' checked.
  • I own the resource group
  • The members of the resource group all have 'Project Resource' checked on their employee record
