Cannot delete account--no transactions associated with it

Hi

I am trying to delete a non system generated account though am getting the following error:

The account in question is a credit card account with:

  • no transactions
  • no parent or child accounts

Why am I not able to delete this? Where can I see what the dependencies are?

There are no custom fields; reports; workflows or items that use this account

The accounts in question do not have a flag preventing deletion
