How do I use Mass Update to send a PDF instead of an HTML of the transaction?

Hi all,

I'd like to learn how to utilize Mass Update a bit better. In this example, I want to learn how to attach a PDF of the transaction to the email instead of the default HTML.

Here I've built a Mass Update, but I don't see any way to change what file gets sent to the customer.

I've tried opening up the template editor but that doesn't seem to include an option to change the file type either.

At the moment, this mass update sends vendors their overdue Purchase Orders, but the file is HTML. I want this to be PDF and also edit the PDF template.
