Updating Subsidiaries on Expense Categories via CSV

Getting the error. "You cannot change the subsidiary of this entity because one or more transactions exist for this entity," when trying to add a new subsidiary to an expense category via CSV update. We first tried an update with the expense category ID and the subsidary ID and include all subsidiaries (minus elimination), and then we tried a file with one line. The account is assigned to all subsidiaries
