Preparing Planned Standard Cost Rollup - Purpose?

Hi,
2025.2 has introduced a "Preparing Planned Standard Cost Rollup" page when updating the standard costs of inventory items and assemblies. Does anyone know the purpose of this?

As a result of this new page, we are finding the roll up process is taking longer.
