Saved Search to show BOM & Revision Components while joining Component Item Record Fields

I am looking to create a saved search that allows our team to list the BOM Item with each Component and then either add those component item fields to the search or use Component Item Record fields as filters on the search.

I see other threads related to thise 3 or more years ago and I am hoping this is gaining some attention @ NetSuite.

Can anyone confirm if this is now possible? I can't see to do it and the join capabilities in the BOM or Revision searches types do not have the drill down capability to pull item record fields into those searches.
