Regarding BOM sub Assembly
Hi Team,
I have a query regarding BOM sub-assemblies. Is it possible to define different combinations of components within a BOM as separate sub-assemblies?
For example:
- Type 1 combination: Item A, Item B, Item C, Item D
- Type 2 combination: Item A, Item E, Item C, Item F
In this scenario, if there is a change in any item — for instance, if Item B is replaced with Item E — the system should automatically identify this as a different combination (Type 2) and select the corresponding sub-assembly.
Please confirm if such a configuration is possible within the NetSuite BOM structure.
