Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Adjust Wrong lot in Bin using inventory Adjustment
We need to correct quantities that were stored in Bin under the wrong lot and move them to the correct lot. Following the NetSuite Community reference “NSC | Adjust Wrong Lot Number In A Bin — NetSuite Community”, we created both positive and negative lines within the same Inventory Adjustment. However, the est. unit cost on the negative line is recalculated by the system, causing a significant variance in COGS and the Inventory Adjustment account on the Income Statement. For the positive line, we used the system-populated unit cost.
Our goal is to fix the lot assignment without impacting COGS or any other financial accounts. Essentially, the net financial impact of the Inventory Adjustment should be zero when using same positive and negative quantities. How can we achieve this?
