Standard Cost for a 150% bill of material

We have a BOM that contains all variants of a product. Based on the product configured, work order gets created for a subset of parts (items) from the common 150% BOM. Generating the work order is a custom process.

Every product we build will show production variances either the cost or the quantity. Most of the variances are valid variances which does need any evaluation.

Any idea on how we can accomplish this in NetSuite? Highly appreciate any ideas or answers
