Target Groups and Bulk Mail Merge

One of my employees does not have access to an "employee" group type although she is the owner of the "group". I have access as an adminsitrator. What do I need to do to give her access to this group for the purpose of bulk mail merges? I attached pictures of what her screen options are in the bulk mail merge field versus mine.
